Dear Peter,

Guess what finally came to East Texas. WINTER! Check out the picture. No, it's not raindrops. That is ICE. Yep, our back yard is covered in ice. The nephew and I headed out with our digital cameras and in less than 5 minutes we took photos of this rare occurrance. :-) Believe me, less than 5 minutes was all we could handle. It is COLD!

I hope you are doing well. I am SICK!!!

Ok, not sick physically, but I am so sick of hearing about Rosie O'Donnel and Donald Trump. What the heck has happened to our society?

President Bush was on TV last night, talking about the war in Iraq. Talking about his new plan (which I support btw) We are still at war people!! What were the news stations talking about? Rosie and Donald. I just don't get it. What about the Economy? What about the issues before Congress right now? What about the U.N.?There is more going on in the world!! And to be honest, most of the people I know DON'T CARE what they say. It is like hearing about 2 kids in a school yard fight. GET OVER IT!!! Even my FAVORITE news channel, Fox News, is talking about it all the time. UGH!!! Sorry, just had to vent.
