I hate the bloated feeling....

Monday night was torcher. I hurt so much. No position was comfortable. I finally figured out I had gas pains. I couldn't go to the bathroom even though I KNEW I needed to. I was literally in tears.

I got up at 5:30 am yesterday and made a serving of oatmeal with strawberries in it. I also ate yogurt and a plum. My loving brother ran to the store to get me some prunes. I ate half of the container. It did the trick, and yesterday was a much better day.

Today, I got up and tried to have "business as usual." Didn't work. I have the pains, again, and not even the prunes have kicked in yet. GAS PAINS HURT!! My back hurts, and I am so uncomfortable!! My side and back are broken out from the Bio Freeze, still. Seriously, I think there may be scarring. It hurts. :-( I am just having a bad day and needed to vent. :-(

I will, hopefully, write a much happier post later. Please, be patient with me.

Love,
Wendy Darling

You just vent away, honey. We all need to let it out sometimes. I'm sure you'll be back to your cheerful self soon. Feel better.

Vent away - you don't have to be happy all the time! I really hope you feel better!

I would bet money...lots and lots of money...that you do not have gas pains. You have a kidney stone. I know, they assured you that you didn't. But unless they went up through your ureter into your kidney with a cystoscope, they can't tell for sure. Trust me, I have had over 35 stones, and what you have described is classic kidney stone symptoms. Not all of mine were visible on x-rays, and had to be found with surgery. My advice....take the Vicadin for the pain and drink like a fish. Whatever you can get down; water, cranberry juice, Diet Coke, whatever. If the pain is coming and going that means the little sucker is moving. If it's small enough to move, you just might get it out with enough fluids.

If you need any more help, let me know.

Thank you, ladies. :-) I feel better about my little "tyrade".

Thank you, Melody. :-)
Today is better. I still have some sharp pains in my lower back, left side, and the left lower part of my abdomen. It comes and goes. I am drinking a lot more, so if it is a kidney stone I sure hope it LEAVES SOON. :-)
