I want to go to Boston...
Our small town does not really have a very good fire works display. And, if it isn't raining it's too hot and humid to sit for hours waiting to watch 10-15 minutes of fireworks. So, the last couple of years we have watched "Boston Pops Orchestra" fireworks display on TV.
Let me just say, this thing is SO COOL. I would LOVE to go to Boston and see this in person. The way they time the fireworks with the music in like a symphony in the air. They even played the theme to "Sesame Street" and the fireworks exploded into geometric shapes and numbers. :-) It is just awesome.
It was so great to see all of the military people there watching it with their families. I prayed for the ones who aren't here tonight, but are fighting elsewhere, and sacrificing their lives for us, and for the freedom of others around the world. God bless them.
I hope you all had a wonderful 4th, and remember those who have fought for our freedom, especially the ones who didn't come home.
